આ ગીત મારું ‘all time favorite’ છે. એના વિશે કંઈ પણ કહેવું કે લખવું એ કવિ, કૃતિ અને કદરદાનની વચ્ચે આવવા જેવું છે. એને તો અશ્રુની વહેતી ધારે.. બસ માણવું જ રહ્યું. ભીતરના જે દર્દે આ કરુણ ગીતને જન્મ આપ્યો તેની પાર્શ્વભૂમિકા તથા કવિ રાવજી પટેલ વિશે વધુ જાણવા સ્વ. રાવજી પટેલ-શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ જોવાનું ભૂલતા નહીં.

‘Kanku na suraj athamya’ is a beautiful poetry and tuned and sung very well.
”mari aakhe” is a very fabluous song with extremely touchy lines, which melts one’s heart and forces to visualise the pain, which the author had suffered from. Really very nice. Keep up the good work.
