મંગલ મંદિર ખોલો
આજે એક ખુબ જ સુંદર પ્રાર્થનાગીત જે સૌએ અવશ્ય ક્યાંક તો સાંભળ્યું જ હશે ને ગાયું પણ હશે. ખાસ કરીને જ્યારે કોઈનું મૃત્યુ થાય ત્યારે તો આ પ્રાર્થનાગીત અચૂક ગાવામાં આવે. નરસિંહરાવ દિવેટીયાની આ અમર રચના આજે માણીએ.

જીવનવન અતિ વેગે વટાવ્યું,
દ્વાર ઊભો શિશુ ભોળો;
તિમિર ગયું ને જ્યોતિ પ્રકાશ્યો,
શિશુને ઊરમાં લ્યો, લ્યો; … દયામય !
નામ મધુર તમ રટ્યો નિરંતર,
શિશુ સહ પ્રેમે બોલો;
દિવ્ય તૃષાતુર આવ્યો બાળક,
પ્રેમ અમીરસ ઢોળો … દયામય !

નાનપણમાં કલકત્તાની સ્કુલમાં આ પ્રાર્થના ગાતા ત્યારે થોડી કરુણતા અનુભવતા પણ જેમજેમ મોટા થયા તેમ તેમ કરુણરસ માં ડુબતા ગયા……..
