What is it that they were drinking after stirring and re-stirring?
Also you have to know that “રંગ” in the context means addiction, and “રંગીલાં” means addict.
In these days of excessive addiction and people dying of addiction, you have to remember that the Rajput kings were made deliberate addicts so that they became subservient to the British. Please read the history. The same happened in China which led to opium wars.
Do you know that if the mother has been drinking opium, it would come out in the breast milk and the child gets addicted right from birth?
I am a very old man, and I remember my mother telling me that in those days, if a child cried, he/she was given opium to quieten the child.

શ્રી ઝવેરચંદ મેઘાણી રાષ્ટ્રીય કવિને મારા શત શત પ્રણામ.
Very melodious but since I’m not acquainted with Gujarati language so not able to understand the meaning. Can any one translate the lyrics in English or Hindi? I tried on net but didn’t find.

આ એક શૌર્ય ગીત છે. જે સાંભરતા કેવાય છે કે શરીરના રુવાંટા ઊભા થઈ જાય.. એટલું બધું આ એક ગીતમાં કહી જાય છે. ખુબ ખૂબ આભાર તમારો મેઘાણી સાહેબ.
