જમુનાને કાંઠે કા’નો વાંસળી વગાડતો
આજકાલ નવરાત્રિ ચાલી રહી છે. નવરાત્રિ મા અંબાની આરાધનાનું પર્વ છે. પણ એ નિમિત્તે રમાતા ગરબાના મૂળ કમસે કમ યમુનાતટે ભગવાન શ્રી કૃષ્ણ અને ગોપીઓ વચ્ચે રમાયેલ રાસ જેટલા ઊંડા છે એટલે જ ગરબામાં કૃષ્ણ, રાધા અને ગોપીઓનો ઉલ્લેખ આવે છે. યમુનાને કાંઠે પોતાની બંસરીથી ગોપીઓને મંત્રમુગ્ધ કરનાર ભગવાન કૃષ્ણની વાત કરતો આ ગરબો આજે માણીએ. This is indeed a very beautiful song with equally powerful singer with a very melodious voice by Achal Mehta. Meera thai tuj ma samai jau – ultimate submission for the beloved. This is one of the best one I heard after a long time. Achal Mehta has indeed justify the lyrics. Is there any album by him ? Like to hear voice in other bhajans, garba and songs.
