I have learnt this poem in 5th std. while my uncle had learnt it before too many years and used to sing it with a very classical vocals that always been creating a real scene of the moment when mithi had gone to serve bhat(lunch) to her father. After so many years today, i read it again, which has make me cry. So emotional poem is “mithi mathe bhaat”

નાના હતા ત્યારે આ કવિતા વાંચી ખુબજ દુઃખ થતું અને ઘણા સમય સુધી મન ઉદાસ બની જતુ અને આથી વાંચવાની હિંમત નથી થતી.

હ્રદયને હચમચાવી જાય એવી હ્રદયસ્પર્શી કવિતા – મીઠી માથે ભાત નિશાળમાં પાંચ થી છ દાયકા પહેલા ભણ્યા હતા ત્યારે
પણ આટલી જ હ્રદય ને સ્પર્શી ગઈ હતી.
