રાષ્ટ્રીય શાયર તરીકે જાણીતા થયેલ ઝવેરચંદ મેઘાણીએ મૂળ કવિવર રવિન્દ્રનાથ ટાગોરની કૃતિ ‘નવી વર્ષા’ નું ગુજરાતી રૂપાંતર કરવાનું બીડું ઝડપ્યું અને પરિણામ ? … ગુજરાતી સાહિત્યની કલગી સમાન એક સદાબહાર રચનાનું સર્જન થયું. વર્ષાઋતુ આવતાં જ્યારે આકાશ ઘનઘોર શ્યામરંગી વાદળોથી ઘેરાઈ જાય ત્યારે સૃષ્ટિ સોળે શણગાર સજી મેઘના સ્વાગત માટે થનગને. મયૂર માટે તો વર્ષા એટલે પ્રણયનું આહવાન .. એના હૃદયમાં વાસંતી ભરતી જાગે, એનું રોમેરોમ નર્તન કરી ઊઠે. મેઘાણીની અમર કૃતિ અને મારું સૌથી પ્રિય વર્ષાકાવ્ય માણો બે અલગ સ્વરોમાં.

અને ચાકચમૂર બે ઉર પરે પચરંગીન બાદલ-પાલવડે
કરી આડશ કોણ ઊભેલ અરે ! (2)
ઓલી વીજ કેરે અંજવાસ નવેસર રાસ લેવા અંકલાશ ચડે,
ઓલી કોણ પયોધર સંઘરતી
વિખરેલ લટે ખડી મે’લ પરે ! … મન મોર બની
ઓલી કોણ હિંડોળ ચગાવત એકલ ફૂલ બકુલની ડાળ પરે,

એની ઘાયલદેહના છાયલ-છેડલા

ખુબ સરસ. ખુબ અલ્પ સંખ્યામાં લોકોને ખબર હશે કે આ ભુમિ પર આવો પણ એક યુગ (ખરા અર્થમાં યોગ) પુરુષ થૈ ગયો હતો.

ઘણા સમયથી આ ગીત સાંભળવા મન થનગનાટ કરી રહ્યું હતું, કૃપા કરી આ ગીતને અનુક્રમણિકામાં મુકશો ? ખુબ ખુબ આભાર. હેમુભાઈના સ્વરે ગવાયેલ જો કોઈ પાસે હોય તો જરુર અમીબેનને મોકલાવજો, જેથી આપણને બધાને લાભ મળે આ અતિ સુંદર કાવ્ય નો, ઉચ્ચતમ અવાજ સાથે.

આ તો થનગનાટ થયો પણ મન નો ના થાઈ તે તો મોસમ ઉપર આધરિત છે તેથી મન મોસમ સાથે વાગ્તુ હોય તો જમાવટ થઈ જાઈ ભાઈ.
