માડી તારું કંકુ ખર્યું
અવિનાશભાઈની અમર કૃતિ. ગુજરાતી સંગીતની વાત થાય તો તેમાં અવિનાશભાઈનું નામ ટોચ પર આવે. અને એમાંય અવિનાશભાઈના સૌથી સુંદર ગીતોની યાદી બનાવીએ તો બેશક આ ગીત ટોપ ટેનમાં આવે. અત્યંત હૃદયસ્પર્શી ભાવો અને એને એટલી જ કમનીયતાથી દિગ્ગજ ગુજરાતી ગાયક રાસબિહારી દેસાઈ અને વિભા દેસાઈએ કંઠ આપ્યો છે. સાથે સાથે આશા ભોંસલેના સ્વરમાં પણ વારંવાર સાંભળતા ન ધરાવાય એવું આ ગીત મા જગદંબાના પવિત્ર પર્વદિવસોમાં આજે સાંભળીએ.

માવડીના રથના ઘૂઘરા બોલ્યા,
અજવાળી રાતે માએ અમૃત ઢોળ્યાં,
ગગનનો ગરબો માના ચરણોમાં ઝૂક્યો,

ઘણાના સ્વરમા આ અવિનાશની અમર રચના માણી. રાસબિહારી દેસાઈના મધુર સ્વરમાં પણ માણી. પણ આજે આ ઓડીઓ રેકોર્ડીંગ ખૂબ સરસ લાગ્યું. ધન્યવાદ.

ગુજરાતી સાહિત્યની અમર કૃતિઓમાંનું વારંવાર સાંભળતાં ન ધરાવાય એવું અવિનાશ વ્યાસનું રાસબિહારી દેસાઈ અને વિભા દેસાઈના કંઠે ગવાયેલું આ અમર ગીત આ વેબ સાઇટ પર મા જગદંબાનાં વિવિધ સ્વરુપોને દૃ્ષ્ટિ સમક્ષ જોતાં જોતાં અમેરિકામાં બેઠાં બેઠાં ખાસ કરીને નવરાત્રિમાં માણવાની ખૂબ ખૂબ મજા આવી. ધન્યવાદ! ધન્યવાદ! ધન્યવાદ!

Vibhaben and Rasbhai has never left our heart and mind though they are back home.
Avinashbhai and vibhaben Rasbhai always stay alive with our daily prayer to mother and specially during Navaratri time.

રોમેરોમમાં મા શક્તિના દર્શન કરાવતી આ અદભુત કૃતિનો આસ્વાદ લેતાં જ રહીએ એવું હંમેશા લાગ્યા કરે છે. શબ્દોને દેહ આપનાર અને મધુર સ્વરે ગાનારને કોટિ કોટિ વંદન.

Though I knew this song since a long time, I was happy to listen to it on your website only recently. This along with other songs of Shri.Avinashbhai sung by various singers are a treat in themselves. One never tires of listening to them.
