પ્રેમીજનો પ્રેમ કરતા કરતા કેટલા પ્રેમમય બની જાય છે એ તો પ્રેમ કરે તે જ જાણે! બધાના નસીબમાં એ નથી તે સારું છે નહી તો આ વેબસાઇટમાં જગ્યા ઓછી પડત ! અને બીજા કોઇ પણ માટે પીયુ સામે જોવાની પણ મનાઇ !

I came to know about this just yesterday. Congrats.
Here I would like to correct a factual error.Pl take it in right spirit.
This evergreen song is not sung by Mukesh as mentioned here but it is sung by Dilip Dholakia who resides in Ahmedabad now a days. It was composed by Ajit Merchant who is in Mumbai now.
If possible, pl mention the name of composer as their contribution to popularize a song is great.

I would like to add few details regarding this song in which the listeners might be interested.
Actually, this song was written for the film ‘Deevadandi’ – an Ajit Merchant production,directed by Balwant Bhatt released in 1950. It wasn’t sure that this song would be picturised on hero or villain, so Venibhai penned it in such a way that it could do for either of the situation.The first two lines ‘tari aankhno afini,tara bolno bandhani’ were in the form of a dialogue which was written by ‘Befaam’.The song was written by Venibhai within an hour.
The opening piece of drum was inspired from the film ‘Rock round the clock’ but was played in the form of the words of Kathak.The song was recorded with only 2 mikes-one with Dilipbhai and the other with the orchestra.
Unfortunately the prints of this film were destroyed in a fire in the ‘Famous Cine Lab’.
U can easily find the songs ‘mera juta hai japani’(Shri420), ‘Mera naam hai chameli’(Raja aur runk) inspired by ‘tari aankhno afini’.
