માબાપને ભૂલશો નહીં
કહેવાય છે ઈશ્વર પોતે બધે સાકાર રૂપ લઈને પ્રકટ નથી થઈ શકતો એથી માતાપિતાનું રૂપ ધારીને આપણી પાસે આવે છે. જગતમાં બીજા બધા દેવોને ન પૂજો, ન સન્માનો પણ માતા-પિતા એવા પ્રત્યક્ષ દેવ છે જેને રાજી રાખવા એ દરેક માનવનું પ્રથમ કર્તવ્ય છે. સાંપ્રત સમાજમાં ઘણીવાર એવા દુઃખદ પ્રસંગો જોવા મળે છે જ્યારે સંતાનો માતા-પિતાની સ્થિતિ દયનીય કરી મૂકે છે, એમને દર દરની ઠોકરો ખાવી પડે છે ત્યારે એમને કહેવાનું મન થાય છે કે ….

ભૂલો ભલે બીજું બધું, માબાપને ભૂલશો નહી
અગણિત છે ઉપકાર એના, એહ વિસરશો નહી
અસહ્ય વેઠી વેદના, ત્યારે દીઠું તમ મુખડું
એ પુનિત જનના કાળજાં, પથ્થર બની છૂંદશો નહી
કાઢી મુખેથી કાળિયા, મોંમા દઈ મોટા કર્યા
અમૃત તણા દેનાર સામે, ઝેર ઉછાળશો નહી
લાખો લડાવ્યા લાડ તમને, કોડ સહુ પુરા કર્યા
એ કોડના પૂરનારના, કોડ પૂરવા ભૂલશો નહી
લાખો કમાતા હો ભલે, માબાપ જેથી ના ઠર્યા
એ લાખ નહિ પણ રાખ છે, એ માનવું ભૂલશો નહી
સંતાનથી સેવા ચહો, સંતાન છો સેવા કરો
જેવું કરો તેવું ભરો, એ ભાવના ભૂલશો નહી
ભીને સૂઈ પોતે અને સૂકે સૂવાડ્યા આપને
એની અમીમય આંખને, ભૂલીને ભીંજવશો નહી
પુષ્પો બિછાવ્યાં પ્રેમથી, જેણે તમારા રાહ પર
એ રાહબરના રાહ પર, કંટક કદી બનશો નહી
ધન ખરચતાં મળશે બધું, માતાપિતા મળશે નહી
એનાં પુનિત ચરણો તણી, કદી ચાહના ભૂલશો નહી.

મા બાપના ઉપકારો ને યાદ કરાવતુ સુંદર ગીત સાંભળીને ઘણો જ આનંદ થયો.

સાચે જ જો આપણે આપણા શરીરની ચામડી આપીને તેના પગરખાં મા-બાપ ને આપીએ તો પણ કમ થાય તે દર્શાવતું આ કાવ્ય ઘણુ જ સરસ છે. માટે જ ભગવાને પણ માને વંદન કરવું પડે છે.

મા-બાપ માટે તમારો આટલો બધો પ્રેમ જોઇને ખુબ જ આનંદ થયો. પ્રભુ સહુ મા-બાપને તમારા જેવો પુત્ર આપે.

સંત પુનિતનું ખૂબ જાણીતું-સૌનું માનીતુ ગીત -ગીત પ્રાર્થનાપોથી આલ્બમવાળું વધારે સારી રીતે માણી શકાયુ

I like this bhjan so much that while listening I recollect those Golden moments where my mom and dad has done for me when I was child…Today I am in London and they are in India and I miss them a lot..

અગણિત છે ઉપકાર એના, એહ વિસરશો નહી
તમે તો તમારી ફરજ અદા કરી દીધી હોય તેમ લાગે છે તમારા માતા-પિતાની બહુ સરસ છબી છે. સરસ.. આજના જમાના માટે આ ગીત બરાબર ફીટ થાય છે અને જરુરી પણ છે. લોકોની ભાવનાને સમજવાની અને આ રીતે તમો સમાજ પ્રત્યેની ફ્રરજો પણ જાણે અજાણે અદા કરો છો. બહુ સરસ.

i am non-Gujarati so i can’t understand this poem. so if you don’t mind please send me in Hindi lang. so we can enjoy this poem and also my child and relative.

really a good effort by the author and the singer for this melodious poem. though this poem reminds everyone of their parents’ love and affection …there cannot be words describing the depth of this feeling esp. when we haven’t seen God.
